What is CLL?

CLL solves the whole last layer of a 2x2 in one algorithm, with the first layer already built: the four corners are oriented and permuted at once. There are 40 CLL cases, grouped by the last layer's orientation shape.

Most people learn CLL one shape at a time, starting with the Sune and Antisune shapes they already know from the 3x3. Pick a shape above to drill just that one.

Frequently asked questions

How do I practice CLL algorithms?
Pick which cases to drill, then one of two modes: Flashcard (see the case, recall the algorithm) or Scramble (set the case up on your own 2x2 and solve it). The trainer serves the cases you are still learning, the ones you fail and the slow ones more often than the ones you already know.
How many CLL algorithms are there?
There are 40 CLL cases, one algorithm each. Grouped by orientation shape: Antisune 6, H 4, L 6, Pi 6, Sune 6, T 6, U 6.
How does the trainer know which CLL cases I know?
From the status you give each algorithm in the CLL database: Not known, Failing, Learning, Getting there or Muscle Memory. Filter the drill by status to practice only the cases you are learning, and update a status as it changes.
