The trainer drills the algorithm you chose for each case. Change them on the EG-1 algorithms page

What is EG-1?

EG-1 is CLL with the first layer one adjacent swap from solved: one algorithm finishes both layers. The 40 cases are CLL's shapes again, each with a new algorithm.

Learn CLL first. EG-1 reuses its recognition, and only the algorithms change.

Frequently asked questions

How do I practice EG-1 algorithms?
Pick which cases to drill, then one of two modes: Flashcard (see the case, recall the algorithm) or Scramble (set the case up on your own 2x2 and solve it). The trainer serves the cases you are still learning, the ones you fail and the slow ones more often than the ones you already know.
How many EG-1 algorithms are there?
There are 40 EG-1 cases, the same count as CLL, one algorithm each.
How does the trainer know which EG-1 cases I know?
From the status you give each algorithm in the EG-1 database: Not known, Failing, Learning, Getting there or Muscle Memory. Filter the drill by status to practice only the cases you are learning, and update a status as it changes.
