What is FH?
FH picks up where TCLL stops: the first layer has two twisted corners, one turning each way, and one algorithm fixes both while solving the last layer. There are 172 FH cases across four variants.
Pick one variant above and learn it whole. The four variants are the two shapes the pair of twists can make, over a first layer that is either permuted or one swap out.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I practice FH algorithms?
- Pick which cases to drill, then one of two modes: Flashcard (see the case, recall the algorithm) or Scramble (set the case up on your own 2x2 and solve it). The trainer serves the cases you are still learning, the ones you fail and the slow ones more often than the ones you already know.
- How does the trainer know which FH cases I know?
- From the status you give each algorithm in the FH database: Not known, Failing, Learning, Getting there or Muscle Memory. Filter the drill by status to practice only the cases you are learning, and update a status as it changes.
