What is LEG-1?

LEG-1 is EG-1 seen from the next side round: the same 40 cases with the first layer's adjacent swap on the right instead of the front, so each case wants a different algorithm. Knowing both lets you start from whichever side is faster instead of rotating to the one you know.

Frequently asked questions

How do I practice LEG-1 algorithms?
Pick which cases to drill, then one of two modes: Flashcard (see the case, recall the algorithm) or Scramble (set the case up on your own 2x2 and solve it). The trainer serves the cases you are still learning, the ones you fail and the slow ones more often than the ones you already know.
How many LEG-1 algorithms are there?
There are 40 LEG-1 cases, the same cases as EG-1 held a quarter turn round.
How does the trainer know which LEG-1 cases I know?
From the status you give each algorithm in the LEG-1 database: Not known, Failing, Learning, Getting there or Muscle Memory. Filter the drill by status to practice only the cases you are learning, and update a status as it changes.
