What is TEG-2?

TEG-2 is TEG-1's diagonal half: the first layer needs a diagonal swap and carries a twisted corner, and one algorithm finishes both layers. A diagonal swap looks the same from either side, so only the twist's direction matters, which leaves two variants and 86 cases.

Frequently asked questions

How do I practice TEG-2 algorithms?
Pick which cases to drill, then one of two modes: Flashcard (see the case, recall the algorithm) or Scramble (set the case up on your own 2x2 and solve it). The trainer serves the cases you are still learning, the ones you fail and the slow ones more often than the ones you already know.
How does the trainer know which TEG-2 cases I know?
From the status you give each algorithm in the TEG-2 database: Not known, Failing, Learning, Getting there or Muscle Memory. Filter the drill by status to practice only the cases you are learning, and update a status as it changes.
